Oonagh Duckworth (she/her) is British born and moved to France in the eighties and then to Belgium where she is still based. She first worked as a dancer and cultural journalist, then went on to produce independent dance companies and projects including the Bal Moderne. She also programmed for The Pompidou Center in Paris and The Place Theatre  in London. In Brussels she collaborates frequently with Les Brigittines. As a journalist, she has contributed to The Guardian, Elle Magazine, The Evening Standard, City Limits and Time Out as well as the Belgian publications Agenda, The Bulletin and Flanders Today. Currently she holds the position of director of Springback Academy, an EU funded mentoring programme for dance and cultural writers.
